The Only Makeup Products I’ve Used Working From Home for the Past 4.5 Years

As a remote employee, I’ve been working from home for 4.5 years, which is a long time. My WFH tricks have certainly fluctuated throughout the years, but one thing that’s remained constant is that I always put on makeup, and on the rare days that I don’t, I feel less awake. Yes, it’s in my head, but if something keeps me from being productive, regardless of whether or not it’s tangible, I’m not going to do it. I’d much rather just take the extra 10 minutes to put on some makeup in the morning

The thing is, I steer clear of heavy makeup and stick to only natural products that allow my skin to glow as opposed to masking it. And I don’t bother with a lot of gadgets and tools. Just using my fingers, for the most part, speeds up the task a lot...

Selena Gomez Announces Donation to Cedars-Sinai Hospital for COVID-19 Relief

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds weren’t the only friends of Taylor Swift who announced hospital coronavirus relief donations last night. Selena Gomez also announced on Twitter that she gave to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai. She chose not to share the exact dollar amount, but explained just why donating to Cedars-Sinai was so personal to her. They’ve treated her in the past.

“So thankful for every single medical professional who is putting their health on the line to take care of others,” she wrote. “I’m donating to @CedarsSinai as they are low on masks and ventilators. They’ve taken such good care of me so it’s my turn to show my gratitude.”

The hospital’s Twitter account responded to Gomez, writing, “Thank you for supporting our #HealthcareHeroes! ??If anyone wants to join @selenagomez ...

I’m Obsessed With Cardigans—These Are My Favorites Right Now

It’s true—I’m honestly obsessed with cardigans right now. I don’t know why, but something about them has been really speaking to me these days, and I’m pretty sure I’m onto something.

Think about it: It’s a staple, meaning you’ll always use it since it will never go out of style, but also, when worn as a top, it can be a statement piece. I’ve come to notice as well that when you want to be comfortable, a cardigan has more of that “I still tried” factor than a basic sweater. I mean, look at the above photo. How cool does that girl look? I’d like to be her. (In fact, I already ordered that exact cardigan so that I can be her, and you can too.) Simply continue on to shop it, plus 26 others that I’m also loving right now.

Zoë Kravitz Is Our Loungewear Icon

Ever since we had the pleasure of seeing Zoë Kravitz and her very tall husband Karl Glusman out walking their dog Scout last month in NYC, we haven’t quite been able to shake the image. Surprisingly enough, though, it wasn’t the couple’s good looks and effortless demeanors that made the image so memorable, nor was it Scout’s cuteness level (which, I might add, is unprecedented). Instead, it was the High Fidelity star’s nothing-to-it loungewear set that differentiated this particular paparazzi shot from all the others. It’s also this one that, given our orders to stay home for the foreseeable future, inspired us to make matching loungewear sets a staple of our spring wardrobes.

“Though we are apart, we stand together.”

As the world navigates through the COVID-19 pandemic, brands are increasingly stepping up to provide support in these uncertain times. From holding medical supplies drives (Pyer Moss) to producing hand sanitizer (L’Oréal, LVMH and more) and using fashion facilities to produce and source much-needed masks and personal protective equipment (Knix, Canada Goose, Hilary MacMillan among them), designers and brands are doing what they can to help right now. For British luxury brand Burberry, that means funding research into a COVID-19 vaccine.

Over the weekend, the brand shared a release listing all of the ways it was contributing to aid during...

The Big Everlane Sale: 21 Picks from GQ

For the first time ever, Everlane is putting its entire shop on sale. Like much of the fashion industry, Everlane has been hit hard by the economic downturn that’s followed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. (The company recently laid off or furloughed more than 200 of its workers, somewhat controversially.) And like a lot of other retailers, they are scrambling to make up the lost revenue by way of big sales. It’s by no means a reason to celebrate, but if you’ve been eyeing any of the brand’s closet-filling basics—Everlane’s always-reliable tees and sweats, top-notch cashmere knits, maybe its entry-level suit—now is as good a time as any. Today the brand launched a massive new sale knocking 25 percent off everything site-wide...
